Principal & Director
Raman has broad industry experience, with a particular focus on business development, student recruitment, course development & delivery, and e-learning solutions. His experience ranges from working in the education sector to the large global organisation in India, Asia and UK where he has successfully launched several brands and products in emerging markets and has proven ability to provide outstanding leadership as a senior manager at the board level. Raman’s qualifications include Pearson Ext Level 7 Dip in Strategic Management and Leadership, PG Diploma in Accounting and Finance, PGCE in Higher Education from IFS University, Bachelors in Science, HND in IT, PRINCE2, NCFE Level 2 certificate in IAG amongst other sector related qualifications. Raman is also a member of CIM, IFS and AIMA. Raman has been teaching for the past 10 years and has taught Level 3-7 courses from ATHE, NCFE, OTHM, IQ-IAM, OCR, and Pearson BTEC. Raman is also a qualified Assessor and IQA. He established UK Versity which offers various courses in Further & Higher Education. Under Raman’s leadership, UK Veristy has received many awards including being features in the 2018 Parliamentary Review. Raman also works as an External Examiner for Pearson. His main responsibilities at UK Versity is to grow the business and is directly responsible for teaching, learning, quality assurance and awarding organisations relationships.
Ms. Amrita Kaur
Amrita has a number of years of experience as an administrator. Previoulsy she has offered a range of services including counselling and advice to students in India keen on studying abroad. Her qualifications include a Pearson Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business, NCFE Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, Certificate in Interior Design and Bachelors in Arts from India. She also has a level 2 certificate in Information, Advice and Guidance from NCFE. Amrita actively teaches Business Management course at Level 3. At UK Versity, she is responsible for academic administration.
Ms. Fajer Ali
Fajer is studying her PhD at Manchester Metropolitan University. She previously studied Msc Information Systems Management at the University of Salford. She has previously worked as a PR admin in Applies Science University – Kingdom of Bahrain. She is a new addition to UK Versity team. She will be responsible for course coordination and will also provide pastoral support to the learners. She has an interests in reading, food and travelling.
Mr. Upendra Chainani
Advisor, Accounts & Legal
Upendra has 35 years of experience of working in global organisations and has held several senior positions in Finance in both Indian and UK companies. As an entrepreneur, he started his practice as a sole proprietorship in 1979 immediately after finishing studies and with no business background, the only work experience until then being the article-ships from 1977 to 1979. Upendra currently is a board level advisor to many startups and small-medium companies in the UK & India including Bellavista Resorts, Spain, Hira Trading Co Ltd, UK, amongst others. Being a professional accountant, he is very analytical in his approach and has extensive experience in accounting and taxation. He now runs his successful accountancy business in the UK, a company which he established in 1998 under Optimum Value Added Limited. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting from HR College & Mumbai University.
Mr. Michael Bang, MBA
Director, Centre Operations-Seoul, Korea
Michael has been interested in people and it became more serious when he has gone through General Manager’s posts in three different countries from UK, Korea, and the Philippines. He has got an extensive level of experiences in researching global university courses, counselling students to teach Korean students in addition to commercial corporate life. He is always keen to teach and develop students to be globally competitive in job markets. He specialises in teaching Human Resources and Business Management subjects and will take the lead in managing our recruitment and teaching efforts in the satellite centre in Seoul, Korea.
