Usmania Hall is a renovated Grade 2 listed Georgian church – it is one of the oldest church in Manchester. The administration team will send you a detailed email with the invitation and itinerary for the day.
Family and friends are invited to help you celebrate your success together with UK Versity staff and colleagues. There will be an opportunity to have professional photographs taken in the Graduation Gown and as well as some fun shots in our photo booth!
Refreshments will be served. There will also be an opportunity to purchase some of the memorabilia to help you remember this exciting event as well as your time as a UK Versity as a student. Graduation Photography
• Our professional photographer will be available on the day.
• You can have individual portrait shots done and have photographs taken with friends and family.
• Photographs will also be available of you walking over the stage.
• The entire event will be recorded and uploaded to the UK Versity Youtube Channel.
• Portrait and group photographs will take up to 10 days to process
• Place orders for the photograph and frame online while completing the registration form
In order for professional photographs to be of the best possible quality, it is suggested that you could wear the following:
• Female: White or plain coloured blouse with a suit, skirt or trousers, whichever you prefer.
• Male: White or plain-coloured long-sleeved shirt, Tie if preferred. The suit, or jacket and trousers.

What happens on the day of the ceremony?Robing and Photography: Upon arrival, you'll proceed to the robing area to don your academic attire. Professional photographers will be available to capture your portrait in full regalia. Processional Entry: Graduates will assemble and process into the ceremonial hall, marking the commencement of the ceremony. Award Presentation: As the ceremony progresses, each graduate will be called by name to receive their award from the chief guest, symbolizing the official conferral of your degree. Mortarboard Toss and Group Photograph: Following the formal proceedings, there will be a traditional mortarboard tossing ceremony, culminating in a group photograph to commemorate the occasion. Refreshments and Socializing: The event will conclude with a reception offering music and refreshments, providing an opportunity for graduates and their guests to celebrate together.

Will I be able to bring family and guests?You will be able to bring two guests to the ceremony. Children below the age of 5 are not allowed. Each guest ticket will cost £30. This will include the price for their drink and food.

How do I book my tickets?You can book the guest ticket on the website by following the link to the booking form. The payment will have to be made online once the form is completed.

Can I attend a different ceremony?UK Versity hosts graduation ceremony twice a year. If you have paid for the ceremony and unable to attend, you can attend the next ceremony. You will need to inform the graduation team by writing to graduation@ukversity.co.uk

How do I watch the ceremony online and get the pictures of the ceremony?The pictures and video of the ceremony is generally available the next day. You will be able to get picture frames and pictures from the photographers and the details of the same can be taken from a member of staff or by writing to graduation@ukversity.co.uk Each picture is generally £10 You can free to take any many pictures yourself using your camera or phone The video will also be posted on the ukversity YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/ukversityonline

How do I book my robe?Robe bookings will be available on the website and have to be booked atleast 5 days in advance. For booking form click here The robe hire costs £30 and will include robe, tissel, mortor and cowl.

How long with the ceremony last?On average, ceremonies will last between 120 minutes. Individuals with larger cohorts may endure for up to two hours.
