Business Development Executive

You will be responsible for recruiting students. Providing business development support in recruiting, developing and managing agents and satellite centres. You will be based in Manchester Head office with a geographical focus of covering the agents country and region by region. This role will require you to make phone calls, send emails and in the case of UK geography and meet the agents in person. You will also look into developing partnerships in a predefined geographical area, reaching out and setting up partnerships with businesses, universities or centres for us to be able to market our programs. Other key responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities: The role will be based across 4 sectors of the business and could involve the following:

  • Develop sales plans to meet the set student recruitment targets
  • Increase the reach of UK Versity by appointing agents in different countries.
  • Increase the brand presence using participation in trade fairs and recruitment activities. This will be aided by BTL promotions etc.
  • Provide input for new courses developments for us to continue to grow as an organisation

Requirements – You will be an outgoing individual, with a high degree of energy and enthusiasm that you are able to transmit to others and inspire them to volunteer overseas. You will be expected to manage your own schedule and work from home a lot of the time so excellent time management and organisational skills are fundamental. We would also expect you to have:

  • Previous experience of recruiting students
  • Personal experience of generating leads using social media, LinkedIn, Facebook would be preferable
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to create and deliver engaging partnerships
  • Previous experience in designing marketing material and online promotions would be extremely desirable and useful in this role

Qualification & Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant field and Level 4/5 Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or digital marketing,
  • Good IT Skills – Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Windows 10 or Macs,
  • Knowledge of use of webinar software – WebEx, CRM Software like HubSpot,
  • Knowledge and working of Moodle – Learner Management System – Moodle
  • Previous experience in a teaching role or relevant Business/ Administration qualification in a college or university,
  • Able to multi-task, managing time to meet frequently changing deadlines, in a fast-paced environment,
  • Able to interact with students of all ages and skill levels,
  • Must have a valid DBS certificate.
